he got our orders for Korea - OCONUS (Over Seas)

just a little update . . . . .
we put in for C/S and it went through

he signs for our apartment on the 15th.
now all I need is my ticket over there
Korea here I come

Woohoo Congrats that is great news...where in Korea are you coming too? Make sure you pack all heavy clothes it is getting COLD here!

I will be at camp Casey.
I hear winter is bad in Korea but I am from Illinois so I'm ready!
I have my boots, hat, gloves and scarf packed! lol.

I would say the winters here are not as bad as Illinois. Here at least in Seoul it has never gotten below 0 or even close and the temps in Ill can get into negative temps. I lived in Chicago for a year in 1998 and I went navy bootcamp in the dead of winter of 94-95.

However, I am not sure what it would be like in Casey because Seoul is a huge city so the temps tend to be higher in the city.

well that's good to know, I just moved from Chicago this past spring. winter was not to cold this last year just lots of snow!
(I also grew up in Zion witch is not to far from great lakes)

well as of right now I have no idea when I'm coming but I was told all that's left is to get my ticket over there. so soon I hope!
