Thanks for the info USAF_Gal! It is great how people can be helpful and give me information. I don't know what I would do if I didn't get any helpful tips

Suffer I suppose. My hubby's sponser sent him a package with all the info about the base and what not. Let's just say it wasn't very helpful at all. There were a total of 4 pages in the packet. And one of them was a map of the base...which is helpful. I appreciate them taking the time and sending it to us. But, we were expecting a little more. Before we got here at Whiteman they sent us a packet with a lot of great info in it. Plus, a base booklet that had all the info you could want in it. Including the near by towns. I guess you can say we were spoiled

Oh well, I'm sure we can find information about the base online and when we get there.

And BKat I hope you figure out how to control the room temp lol! That must stink...it would be horrible to sleep that way.
