Boarding kennels near Raf Lakenheath - OCONUS (Over Seas)

Goodmorning everyone, I was wondering if any of you know of a good, clean boarding kennel in the area. Reason I am asking is we will be shipping our husky over in Jan. We have noone that can send her to us once we are there. So I am trying to find a good safe boarding place that will pick her up from the airport and keep here safe until we can arrive a couple days later. she will need to be quarentined for 2 weeks once she is there as well. so any ideas or suggestions would be great , thank you all in advance

Hey, I know of this boarding kennels www.fivewayskennels.co.uk which is right down the road from RAF Lakenheath and Mildenhall. I use people in Ely, they aren't kennels more like boarding where the dog roams the house and isn't locked in a cage. I have never used five ways kennels before but I have heard that they are good.

Can he not fly with you? I would think it would be hard to get him shipped over before you...

We are going to carry her with us but i still am in need of finding a good , clean , safe kennel/quarantine that can pick her up from the airport and finish her last 8 days of quarantine. Does anyone know if TLF allows pets ?

If you husky is going to finish out her quarantine here in England you will have to use one of the DEFRA approved quaranting facilities, you can't use just any boarding kennel. The closest one to the Lakenheath/Mildenhall area is Little Acre .

There is pet TLF but there are only a few pet rooms so I would suggest that you call ASAP and see if you can book one of them.

Thank you very much for the info. Our time is winding down fast so i am begining to stress about ship her and hopeing i have all the defra stuff completed correctly
