Vilseck ladies!
We just found out we are moving to Vilseck! We get the report date on Thurs! We are worried about the lengthy EFMP process and getting passports! We were in Baumholder back in 2006 but we didn't have two kids then and a dog lol! We are trying to figure out how to go about shipping our lab, getting concurrent travel, how many bedrooms we will have since we have 2 boys 3 and 10 months.... I am a wreck! Baumholder was a bad experience and the hubs JUST got home from his 4th tour a few weeks ago. Anyone willing to help me out with info and questions and such? You need to get in touch with your personnel office, they will have a lot of information that can help you. Also, I know a family that got their dog on their orders, so he flew with them without any kind of quarantine process. Concurrent travel is the best option, the EFMP stuff doesn't take as long *generally* that way.
PeppermintRei would be a great contact for you to get in touch with, she just recently went through the move over to Germany, but she doesn't have kids, I think she has cats though.
