who will drive my soul?
![]() |
here's the deal:
joe's ship is doing a tiger cruise from victoria, can to their port in washington. so i would have to meet him in washington. i don't have a passport and won't be able to get one before i need to be there (oct 4th). so i'm thinking i'll fly to seattle and then take the ferry to victoria. i won't have my car there (obviously), so does anyone know how far the ferry is from the airport? or would i need to drive from the airport to the ferry? i hope this made sense thanks!

i know im in the next room but...im pretty sure all you would have to do is apply for your passport since there months behind right now and print out the thing that says youve applied for it and thats all u need...double check on that but theres some sort of backup for passports right now...

Hey... I'm pretty sure you need a passport to get back into the U.S. but I could be wrong. Seatac is probably 15-20 minutes from Downtown Seattle where the Victoria Clipper is docked. It's also a fairly pricey ride up there... and I think it takes a day or two (depending on the cruise).
Def. double check the passport requirements before you go. Have fun!!!

If you're driving or on foot you can get away with your drivers license until the end of the year. If you're cruising across I'm pretty sure you have to have a passport to return. I don't know if the clipper counts as a "cruise" vessel or a water taxi. Sorry I can't be of more help!
