Washington Ladies!!! - NorthWestern U.S

I am moving to WA in May and will need a job as a teacher. I am hoping to teach Pre-k or Kindergarten. I wanted everyone's opinion on the school in WA. I have been looking at Central Kitsap School District, but would also like some other districts. Any feedback, advice, suggestions or anything would be greatly appreciated!!!

Also, I need an apartment. I know it is 8 months away but I have a lot to do!

I have a friend who teaches 2nd grade in the Puyallup school district. She really likes it. She has been teaching for many years. She said the Yelm school district is good too. I was asking from the stand point of a parent on the Yelm one.

BTW, We will be at Lewis in November. We just found out this week. We are getting excited.

My friends sister and her mom, as well as a friend of mine, all teach in Puyallup.

I'm not sure what you want to know though?

Peninsula School District is nearby (Gig Harbor) and their elementary schools are awesome

I have no kids so I know nothing about schools.

Jillian.. How long have you been in Tacoma? We will be there in about 6 weeks. I am excited and nervous at the same time.

You're pretty much safe in Gig Harbor, Port Orchard (as long as you're not out in the tullies... methheads).... parts of Bremerton (not downtown, it's grubby)... and Silverdale

Pick out a few places and let me know... I'll take a look and give you my reviews
