Seafair and the heat in WA

ok so... sea fair?

does anyone go to this or can give me recommendations on the event? I'm not sure if want to go so i would love some local advice...

ok so i know its suppose to cool down now but just in case i thought i'd share this discovery with all the parents who have furry kids... my son (yes a dog) Rusty started to get super over heated today even though it was cooling off so i put him in a cold bath and soaked him since i heard that the best ways to cool him off was to give him cold cold water to drink and put his paws in cold water but that wasn't cutting it today. Anyway i thought "well what can i do to make him feel better, his to hot and burning up, if it keeps going this way his going to get sick" then i realized something... his new shampoo is tea tree and mint just like my shampoo and everytime i wash my hair i get cold and tingly on my head so maybe it well work for him and it did! after i soaked and washed him really good with his shampoo he felt tons better and no more panting. i think it was due to the cold water, the shampoo and the temp finally cooling down.

so long story short if you need to cool off you furry kid and you've tried everything you can think of then try washing them with a tree tea or mint shampoo (thats pet friendly of course) and that should make them feel better. hope this helps. i know that the heat has been bad for us but it was prob worse for them since they are not allowed in the malls or movie theaters to cool off in an air conditioner. Sorry that this idea came late in the game though.
