There are tons. Go to Pike Place Market for sure. It's awesome. Eat at one of the little vendor places too, theres fresh fish and chips, ethnic foods of all types, bakeries, delis, and none of it is too expensive.
Go to the waterfront and walk around, it's right below Pike Place so you can do both of those the same day. Go to Gasworks park. It's really pretty and theres always interesting people watching there. Go to Volunteer Park, it's BEAUTIFUL and again, fun people watching. Right below Volunteer park is Broadway on Capitol Hill. It's good shopping and fun people watching again. There are also some good bars around there. Freemont area is really cute with a lot of neat shops and restaurants. Also, go see the troll under the Freemont bridge. Seriously, it's cool. Theres always Seattle Center and the Space Needle too, and millions of other things. You will never run out of fun stuff to do in Seattle in July. |

Up the street on the south end of the Market... straight up .. there is a great "Kitchen gadget" store for shopping, and some really good coffee shops, that have baked goods, Too too good. Enjoy! But if you walk along the waterside and the pier... there is seafood galore... Local place is "Ivar's"... but there are some that do "crab boil" and all kinds of great stuff! |

Because Ive lived here my entire life... there are a lot of things I WONT do... Like, go up in the Space Needle. Last time I was there, it was like.. $30 a person! No thanks. But everyone needs to do it once.
Coolest thing I've ever done in Seattle? The Seattle Underground Tour. Seriously. I think everyone should go. We had a BLAST!

Pike Place Market is great, unless your a HUGE music lover, I would pass on EMP. Its fun, but after awhile, its boring. The duck tours are fun! If your a bar fan, Cowgirls, Inc in downtown is one of the most fun bars I've ever been to... and the zoo is great! The aquarium is right down town, and its great.... And take the Seattle tour on the double-decker busses. You learn a TON, and its fun!

And, if you need a tour guide, let me know!
I meet clients in Seattle all the time, so I might be able to work it around the days you are there!

NOTE... I just looked it up online... it's 16.00 for adults and if you eat in the Sky Cafe for lunch or dinner... it's free to go to the observation deck. HTH. |

I went to Seattle a few months back and I went on a city tour. I recommend it because it allows you to see the big picture and some basic history and then figure out where you want to spend your time. Enjoy! I really liked what I saw.
