    Pottery painting G2G????

    Advertisements
    **Update**
So We're planning on Friday the 12th, this coming friday. What time is good for everyone??? 2 or 3 pm maybe??

    *****

So DB's stepmom owns a pottery shop in Lakewood, here's the link. It's a really fun place! I talked to her about having a G2G there and she said that'd be a great idea, she has lots of people have parties there.

It'd be $10 a person and that would go towards the item you'd paint which are very inexpensive, the coffee mug I did was $12. So you pick it out, paint it, then she fires it and you go back a week later and pick it up and pay for it. Kids are welcome to come and paint too. She said if we do it after hours we'd get the place to ourselves and could even make it like a potluck and bring food and stuff, or not.

She has lots of Xmas stuff and good ideas for gifts too. I think it's a very nice gift, made by you, inexpensive and totally fun too!

So whatcha guys think? Anyone be interested?

aww finally. lol. Lots of moms in the area but guess nobody likes to paint. I think it's a great idea for kids to do and then give as gifts to family members. I've even painted a few coffee mugs for myself that look awesome, I'd so give them as gifts.

Also the officer's wives' club from Ft. Lewis goes there once a month and has a G2G so I thought why don't we!

Whenever people are available. If we don't get many people we could just go during the day, just a few of us and the kiddos.

Sure! Let me know when! Getting the piece back would kind of be a pain- i'd have to drive back down there... or i suppose I could get DB to go get it when he goes to drill in Tacoma..

I, for sure, will be in the area around the 19th for finals (like Friday afternoon through Sunday). Maybe then?
