    they may be the scourge of the state of wa, but i LOVE them. i made a pie with the ones i picked from our backyard last night. i think i'll have a piece now. i'm gonna miss them after i move.

    I miss them from MI, too. I used to have them with cream.

    from my experience, the wild berries in mi have sucked for many many years because they don't get enuf rain. i have fond memories of huckleberry picking as a small child in mi. one in the bucket, one in the mouth, one in the bucket, one in the mouth...mmmmmmmmmmmm.

    This was back when I was seven, or so, so about 15, 16 years ago. They'd get SO big, but my neighbor watered them every day, too.

    Blackberries are my all time favorite fruit. I could eat them anytime. Mmmm, blackberry pancakes, blackberry pie, blackberries in cottage cheese. Jebus, now I want some.
