The cell phone hands free device law goes in effect jul 1, so remember to get your bluetooth or headset for your cell phone, if you haven't already.

Wa outlawed texting while driving as of jan 1, so were on top of that.

Ear buds always hurt my ears but I have a set that came w my bb. I really don't call much while driving because of all the traffic out here. In mi I'd talk and text galore.

I don't use my cell all that much while driving, so cutting it out won't bug me.. I'm also in the habit of just putting it on speaker and laying it down while driving...if I use it at all.

This makes about as much sense as still allowing police officers to use their laptops while driving.

the news last night said you are not allowed to hold the phone to your ear...so i guess that means you could still use the speakerphone built in your phone.

Yep, the whole purpose is to be "hands free" so you can have both hands on the steering wheel. Or in my case one on the steering wheel and one on the shifter.

    i'm with you there!

i've pored over the bluetooth options, & i've yet to see one i like. i want one with a low profile mic piece & earpiece. all i've found is one, or the other.
