okay....I've never taken a ferry.....I'm kind of nervous. LMAO!
Does anyone else need a ride that I would pass on the way from Fort Lewis? I have a mini van with 3 open seats since Rachel won't be going.

From a drive-time perspective, going around (exit 230 on the freeway) is the quickest, but that's a lot of driving. If you want a short break in it, the ferry is a good option, but you have to time it right otherwise you end up waiting for 20 minutes or so. Personally, I would drive around and take the freeway unless you particularly want to go on the ferry. I'm on the North end of the island so you're not doubling back on yourself.Quote:

I'm fine with later, I'd rather not go much sooner though. So, please let me know if anyone has a preferred time. Maybe 2-2.30 would be better? I'm certainly fine with that! Just let me know.
since i have to leave at like 6am to get there (lol...okay, not that bad)....any time after noon-ish will work for me!
I was more concerned about not starting too late for you to get back, but I guess it's still light until quite late so it's not like last time we did this (November I think) when it got dark really early.Quote:

2:30 works perfectly fine for me.....maybe the kids will nap in the car (a woman can hope, right?)
That's what I was thinking. If not, we have a playroom if they want some quiet time, and we have a nursery upstairs (it's a toddler bed, but it's usable if needed). I also have a little mini travel bassinette thingie for babies if needed.Quote:
