anyone know if the stennis is getting mail during workups? i asked my db about it before he left & he didn't know. now i'd like to surprise him with some stuff, but i don't want it ending up in limbo.

How long, approx (obv) are they out for?

My guess would be no. I never thought of sending my husband mail when he was underway or on work-ups. I just always figured he wouldn't get it until they pulled back into their home port. But, I can be wrong. That is just my guess.

Humm.. Then it may be possible. =]

ETA: I say just send it. Worst comes to worst, it'll be waiting for him when he pulls in. Unless, of course, it's something that can't sit.
