    Western Washington Get together Poll

Alright - so first we're going to figure out where. Once we figure out where, we can decide on when.

For the peninsula ladies, we would have to shuffle but we should be able to transport you guys, those of us that have cars, if you'd be ok with that. I only have room for 1, but there are a handfull of people over here. There's also got to be a bus available to wherever we'll be meeting if someone didn't want to have to ride with us.

Dani and I have been looking at options - we can do the zoo. Admission prices are $15 for adults, and $10 for children 3-10, under 2 is free. If we have 20 people and go in the gate at the same time with one person paying (that would mean we'd have to bring exact change) we would receive a 10% discount.

    Here's the zoo link:
    http://www.zoo.org/

Another option is Gas Works Park:
    http://www.seattle.gov/parks/park_detail.asp?id=293

This would be a fun place to just hang out and picnic and visit.

Another option, if people just wanted to get together for a meal, several restaraunts right there near the ferry terminal - there's a Red Robin and an Ivar's outdoor stand with covered seating available. There's also a really fun seafood place called The Crab Pot that is a blast.

Another option would be an Argosy harbor cruise - that could be really fun and I'd be willing to look into rates and group discounts if you all decide to go that route.

If anybody else has any ideas, let me or Dani know!

Hey, okay. So, Veggie here, so I'd prefer Red Robin if we did do a restaurant.

The Gas Works park sounds cool (my vote) 'cos it'd be nice to just hang out. The zoo sounds neat though too, if that's what we decide.

I dunno where those are, but, I'm up in Shoreline, if anyone needs a ride, and I have just me and a 5-seater car (so I have four seats available). I just have to get off my ass and get to the chevy dealer to get my seatbelts fixed (two got stuck). So, atm, I can fit two people. As soon as I get into the dealer, I can fit four.

    I'm excited gurlies.

I'm okay with anywhere, I do have 3 extra seats in the car, although leg room can get a bit cramped if the drive is too long. it's a 4 door, subaru impreza wagon. Outdoors would be nice, but what it it rains?

Am I even allowed to come anymore or am I causing too much drama?

Anyone for a drink out tonight? I'm dying for a good Black Opal/Grape Ne-hi/margarita. I made it through mid terms, phew!

i'm going on the harbor cruise this saturday, so i'd prefer anything but that.

from what a co worker told me, the harbor cruise REALLY pales in comparison to the lake washington cruise. she said the bremerton ferry ride is better than the argosy harbor cruise. i've got the harbor cruise brochure floating around here somewheres & iirc the adult price is in the $20 range. i can't remember the kids price.

i was just down on the waterfront two weeks ago & red robin appeared to be a construction zone. the windows were all covered with plastic. i don't think it's open.

eta: peppermintrei...i'm totally itching for a margarita. i take mine on the rocks. i happen to have 2 bottles of margarita mix & a fifth of tequila tempting me, but they're for tomorrow when my cousin arrives to visit for 7 days.

Oh please. Drama happens, it's contained and has nothing to do with our g2g.
Please don't drag it out here onto the main board .
