    What exactly is the problem?

In WA, you can't get your permit until you're 15-1/2 unless you have a waiver from a driving school.

You HAVE to go to driver's ed unless you are 18.

If you are 18, you don't have to take driver's ed, you just have to take the written and driven test.

I'd reccommend getting the book from the DMV to study... a lot of the questions on the test are about specific laws.

    Good luck.

    The written test?

I failed it once, they had just changed a bunch of laws, and I had no idea there was a study book.

Hang in there, you'll get it!!!

I have a question...I'm from Canada and are still using my BC licence. Does anyone know what it takes to transfer my out of country ID to a Washington state licence and where I should go for that.
