Snoqualmie falls is nice, Rainier is better If you want to stay out on the peninsula and avoid the interstate, go through Gorst (I think) and head out past Brinnon into the Olympic national forest - there's the Dosewallips, Hamma Hamma and Duckabush rivers out there that are gorgeous as well.

    Dosewallips info:

    Duckabush info:

I can't seem to find a link for the Hamma Hamma river, but it's nice up there too. I've been camping several times on the Dosewallips and the Hamma Hamma - it's nice and quiet, and really would be pretty on a day like this.

    Good luck!

It IS a gorgeous day, but we're stuck spending it unpacking
