Oh I see. It looks like Southwest flies nonstop into BWI and Dulles, and is pretty reasonable in price. Bummer about Reagan.

You may want to be really attentive to the return flight. Having to check out of a hotel at o-dark thirty to make an early morning flight sucks.

For me, East to West travel is more difficult, so I have to be careful with the morning stuff.

I love Reagan but have always been able to get a direct flight when I was in the lower 48. The other choices are about equal, I'd choose what's cheapest. Dulles gave us nothing but headaches though.

Reagan and take the metro. I've come into BWI its a bit of a drive to DC from it. Additionally Reagan is really easy to get into and out of quickly (at least for me).

ETA - I just saw the Reagan has no direct flights. I'd probably look at Dulles then, sorry.

i would recommend reagan too but if you want a direct flight and can't find one i would say dulles second. personally i hate flying into bwi because i hate the metro ride back from greenbelt to my apt. like trish said the metro goes out that way with the new silver line so it should be easier than it used to be.

BWI. Dulles is a nightmare to get to and from. I've lived here my whole life and have flown out of Dulles twice. BWI is always my go-to airport. Reagan has one of the shortest runways, so if the pilot over shoots then you're stuck in the air until he's cleared to land. You also have to bank at Reagan because there are no-fly zones right next to it.
