    Advertisements
I go down next week to look at apartments with DH next week. I have no idea where is a good place, I've been looking online. But not much luck. He wants something that includes water. Is the cost of water expensive?

Any good recommendations on apartments, let me know PLEASE!!!

I live in norfolk so I'm not too familiar with the chesapeake area as far as good places and what not. But in reference to the water, it's just one more stupid bill that can start to add up. Not only do you get charged for the water you use as far as showers and what not but also the sewage. So having it included in your rent is much better

water isn't too bad....depends on how much you use and if the apartment complex does a combined utility bill. I know ours in Portsmouth (it was in Churchland, right on near the city border with Chesapeake) combined our water, electric and gas into one bill and usually sent it so we could pay it with the rent payment. I think they used an outside company to monitor the bills from the city but we never dealt with the city or the companies that provided the utilities, it was always a third party company who metered it out that the complex contracted.

i know ours was never high, maybe the electric in the summer months and gas during the winter.

We adored Indian Lakes town homes... its right at the VA Beach/Chesapeake border. We ended up not getting to live there BUT that is the one place we fell in love with there...

We lived in Chesapeake...specifically the Greenbrier area. Zip code is 23320. We LOVED living there. We rented a house, so not familiar with apts that include water. But there area lots of townhouses and a few apt complexes in Greenbrier.
