Hey..my fiance lives on base in Newport,RI. I go down there a lot to see him, it's a pretty boring base, but nice. I've been to a few of the base houses and they are very nice as well. It's a small base but Newport is gorgeous so it makes up for it! Here's a site that may help you(you probably have already seen it) https://www.housing.navy.mil/onestop...nestop.jsp?v=1 Take care!

Thank you for my siggy Stacey!
    He's home from Iraq!

Some of the housing does allow pets!! The housing there is A LOT nicer than it is here in WA! They seperate a lot of their housing also by ranks. They are nice there, you should call the office!

I don't know how GMH is up in Rhode Island, but the management SUCKS. We liked them when we first moved in, but it has gone downhill in the last 6 months we've lived on Mitchel Field in NY. I hope they manage the housing better in RI than here, because otherwise you may find yourself wanting to move out to town earlier than your lease is up, at least that is what has happened here. We know at least two other families who moved in around the same time we did and they also want to move into town.
