got a question about a town in the area...

what do you know about West Carthage, NY. What do you think of that area, I'm going to be heading up there to go check out these townhouses/apartments maybe this weekend, (heather!! wanna met up??)

also if that place ends up being a bust what other good apartments/townhouses are good in the area?? would love to go around and check out other places if i can!

I'm not sure about that area I can look for you and see how it is if you like? I just moved to here from Ca but I can go look or ask my husband or ask around here for you. Are you trying to look for a place by Fort Drum? Cause I just moved to Ny becasue my Husband is station at fort drum. We live right next to fort drum. If you want you can also look where I live at. Pet friendly and they are very nice here, lots of military familys here 5 mins to one of the fort drum gates. I have a 2 bed 1 1/2 bath.

My doctor's are in Carthage and as far as that goes, they are much better than Watertown. I had a friend living in Carthage and they liked it. It's about 20-30 minutes from Drum.

And yes, I would love to meet up with you this weekend. Are you staying at a hotel by Drum if you come?

My husband friend said he thinks he been around that area and he said it wasn't a bad area but I will keep asking for you!

Honestly depends on what you are looking for. There are some nice and descent size townhouses in Watertown, we are renting a "apartment" that's 1/4 of a house but it' fricken huge and we love it.

Think the reason why DH wants me to check out this place, is cause it closer to Wheeler Army Airfield. so what ever works for him!

Evans Mills is closer to the airfield than Carthage. It takes me about 30 minutes to get to Carthage from my house on post.
