We are PCSing for the first time come Thanksgiving. He has to report the day after the Holiday. Great timing, eh?

I am really excited about the move and look forward to making new friends up in that area.

My DB is at Meade as well. It's close to smaller cities that are fun like Columbia and then not too far from bigger cities like Baltimore and DC as well. Metro isn't too bad to get to, and BWI (airport) is cake to get to.

Is he with the NSA by chance?

I'm closer to Aberdeen Proving Ground then Fort Meade but Meade's closer to all the good shopping. Be prepared to splurge at a mall that has 6? neighborhoods which have 30 stores in each section. Transportation around there is a sweat, except our traffic is kind of notorious for getting crazy. If you ever have any questions PM me
