ATTN DC ladies, need advice :)

I'm flying into ronald reagan and need to get to the national naval hospital, any advice on how to get there best? i'm going to be alone so i'm a little nervous about it. lol not to mention the fact that it's going to be 9/11

Any info you have on the hospital, base, airport, what to do etc etc, please share this is my first time to the area

it should be pretty easy to metro. there is a metro stop right at reagan airport...take the yellow line towards mt vernon square, and get off at gallery place. at gallery place, switch to the red line towards shady grove. there's a stop for the medical center. from there, i think when you leave the metro station you cross wisconsin and you're right there.

if you don't want to metro, maybe cab? i'm not sure how much it would cost though...

The metro does seem the easiest I'm just kind of freaked about doing the whole subway thing alone, have you guys done it? the shuttle is 23$ from reagan to the medical center...oh i'm so

I have done the metro by myself quite often... its really not scary at all!

I rode it by myself on Fri. and didn't have any problems.
