I moved from AL. It is definitely different, but so far so good. I miss things like Wal-Mart and Chick-Fil-A more than anything

We're in the Bronx, though, and we're in a pretty decent area, there is just nothing here at all and it takes an hour to get anywhere on the bus!

Are you in the city or on Long Island?

I live in Long Island but teach in Queens. I am in the Bronx often because I have family there. It definetly takes getting used to live in NYC. Where in the Bronx do you reside?

We're literally right across the bridge from Queens. DH goes to SUNY Maritime right now.

My cousins live about five minutes from SUNY Maritime. It is a nice area over there. Ever go out to the restaurants or bars on East Treamont Avenue?
