Hampton Roads: Inexpensive Diner!!! =) - NorthEastern U.S

This week, my family and I dined at Irwin's Bluebird Diner. It's located inside Irwin's Pharmacy, located at: 4300 Indian River Rd Chesapeake, VA 23325.

We had breakfast there. My husband had a cheese omelet with sausage, toast, hashbrowns, and a short-stack(3) of chocolate chip pancakes. I had a veggie omelet, grits, toast, and a short-stack of chocolate chip pancakes. Ethan shared toast and pancakes with DH. Our exchange daughter had a veggie omelet, toast, hashbrowns and a short-stack of strawberry pancakes. Ethan ordered himself chocolate milk. The rest of us drank ice water.

For a family of 4, our total came to a whopping $18.80!!! I was SO shocked when I got the receipt.

We will DEFINITELY have breakfast here again!!! It's kind of small but I think it has a "hometown" feel to it!

When I get a chance, I will update this with a scanned menu that I have.

Oh wow! That's kind of near me! I think I know where I'm going to go for breakfast tomorrow!!!

Oh yeah...just like Chic-Fil-a, they're not open on Sundays.

I hope the owner of the diner decides to open on Sundays in the future though!

That's alright! I have no plans during the rest of this week for any meal!!! Excuse to eat there lol. It's that whole shopping for a job thing
