Newseum & Nat. Museum of Crime & Punishment Discounts
WASHINGTON (AP) - Two of Washington's priciest museums are offering recession-busting deals this summer.
The National Museum of Crime & Punishment is offering admission after 6 p.m. for $6. The offer is only good for residents of D.C., Maryland and Virginia. Regular admission usually costs about $20 at the museum, which features artifacts such as John Dillinger's car, a simulated FBI shooting range and an interactive forensics lab. Meanwhile, the Newseum is offering half-off its $20 admission fee in a promotion with WTOP radio. To get the discount, you must mention the station when you buy tickets or purchase tickets via a link on WTOP's web site.
