? for anyone living in VA Beach.

    Advertisements
Hi! I just moved to VA Beach 2 weeks ago and was wondering where the Tricare office is so I could switch my son and me over. If anyone knows that would be helpful. My husbands last duty station was NAS Lemoore and it was really small and everything was right on base even the hospital and clinics. So I have no idea now where everything since we are in such a big area now. Thanks for any info.

I'm pretty sure it would be on base.
Call the tricare number and ask!

Not sure about where it is over there, but I know there is one at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital. That is where I had to go when we first moved here.

I think that you have to go to the Hospital in order to change the area/region that you are in so that you can get set up to go to one of the clinics in the HR/Tidewater area. Once you are in the Tricare North region, then you can go to a clinic on base.

At least that was my experience. I had to go to Portsmouth Naval and then I was set up to go to the Chesapeake clinic.
