    Advertisements
Does anybody know anything about this area? Wether its nice or not? We will most likely be moving into summerfield housing out there and I was wanting to get an idea of what the area is like. I cant find too much online about it.

    TIA

I am a Marylander BORN and RAISED lol

Let me tell you in the NON-Sugar coated way.

VERY bad area ( I live here in PG County). It is very expensive to live here. I don't know what it is like on base, but you REALLY have to be careful where you go in PG County in general. You go into the wrong place it wont be pretty. I don't wanna scare you, but I don't wanna sugar coat it either. It has its good parts, but Mainly Prince Georges County is pretty bad. All the convicts and stuff are being pushed out of DC and PG is the closest thing

Feel free to PM me and if you want specific ?'s asked and I don't know em ill ask my dad. He is a lifey too. Never lived anywhere else.

I looked up the stats and ya I wouldnt live here. I would call Andrews housing again and ask about the Liberty Park housing. If not look again at www.militarybyowner.com but like Katie said I'd reeeeeeeeeally stay out of Landover and PG county. Charles County where I live is nice. Waldorf, La Plata, and White Plains I know are nice. St Marys county is nice as well. Those are all close to Andrews too.

Yeah Landover and PG county is not good. I would go into Charles or St. Mary's county or maybe up to Howard County.

I've lived in PG County for four years and it is something I would rather not repeat. However, the surrounding areas are better. PM me if you need more information.

Landover is bad, very, very, very, bad. PG county isn't bad. You could try Bowie or Crofton.

My friend lives in a super nice townhouse right next to FedEx field in Landover. But I personally would want to stay out of PG County, especially the parts closest to DC. The eastern parts of PG County (Upper Marlboro, Bowie) are not as bad.

AHhhhhh well that kinda sucks, I was hoping to get into housing, but the other housing areas have a waiting list. I guess I now see why that is the only housing without a waiting list. Well I guess it's back to square one, house hunting again.
