    VB Utilities

    Advertisements
Ok ladies. It is official. We will be leaving here in about 3 weeks and heading to Virginia Beach or the Chesapeake area. What is the phone company/cable for that area? We will begin house hunting when we get there (rental) but Im wanting to research some of the utility costs so we can budget our housing costs. I know weare gonna want cable or satellite, dont know if we will have a landline or just get a cell contract, I know some places have a pretty good all for one low monthly price package.

So ladies, Who do you have and what do you pay!!???

We have Cox and it's the 3-in-1 deal: phone, internet, cable. With all of those, expanded basic cable and DVR box, we pay like $170 a month.

WOW. I havent had to pay for utilities in 4 years. Ive forgotten how expensive things are!! We checked out Cox's website last night and our heads are spinning from all the choices. I soooooo want the dvr but its 17.50 a month for the service. ughhhh. We had satelite in FL and we loved it so maybe we'll go back to that. So many choices and soo little time to make them!!!

Thank you ladies for your responses. I have the Cox website saved so we can keep looking at it.
