we're taking Hunter out around our neighborhood. I would try and take her to a base.

We stay on our block which is convenvient because I know most everyone and it only takes one loop and their buckets are full.

military housing is a pretty good idea...my neighborhood is an apartment complex, well they are townhouses but still, i dont think they will do much of the trick or treating stuff. we found a very nice new neighborhood down the street i might go to. military housing is pretty far from me or i would do that. im not sure yet. thanks for all of the suggestions!

Roll Eyes Safe trick or treat

Me and my friend are taking our children to the safe trick or treat in Olde Towne Portsmouth. It's before Halloween (Saturday, October 25, 2008 (6:00 PM-8:00 PM)) but I feel it might be the best thing to do. Here is a link for more information http://www.virginia.org/site/descrip...p?AttrID=37111. Hope it helps

We take DD to a local church halloween festival instead of trick or treating. it's a "safe" halloween. She gets to show off her costume, play games and get candy... I feel much safer there than going to random houses in the neighborhood and risking her being terrified by someone dressed up... She's 4 as well.

Well, I'm what I am and I'm what I'm not
and I'm sure happy with what Iíve got
I live to love and laugh alot
    and thatís all I need
