    Neutral How to Meet Friends??

    Advertisements
I've been here in CT for a little over a month and have only met 2 people and gone out once! I am away from home for the first time ever and am having trouble adjusting to not having any friends near me!! I stay home all day sewing and would really like to get out of the apartment!! Any suggestions on how to meet people in a new place?

if you like to sew sometimes they'll have classes at local craft places i know they do around here... maybe you could go to a class see what kind of people are there? Or if you like to work out go to the gym on base (if there's one) I know I've met quite a few people that way. Also is it possible for you to get a part time job?? I've met SOOOOO many people that way! I'm sure I can think of other things....hmmmm I'll get back to you

club them over the head, take them home and tell them you are going to be BFF's and to stop the damn cliques, rank, color etc...
