    Moving

    Advertisements
Hey we are moving across base so our house can be demolished.

Anybody willing to come help me? My husband won't be getting leave to help and I am not looking forward to unpacking and taking care of my boys without any help. My 6 year old should be fine but I'm afraid my 2 year old will get loose and run into the road. I'm going to look into hourly care at the CDC but then I'll still be doing the furniture arranging unpacking.
Anybody interested? I'll babysit somebodies kids one weekend if you want to "trade"?!?!

March 12 is our official move date.

    Thanks!
    Jen

I can help you But I am not sure of my work schedule that day, so it might just be in the afternoon that i can help, like sometime after 2pm.

Hey and since, you know I have moved 10 times in the past 8 years, i am really good at it

Seriously though 10 times and 3 of them were with out help. DF was convientley deployed

Thanks!!! My hubby laughed at me and said, "Yeah, I can see them JUMPING at the chance to help you move."
I told him he'd be surprised how we ladies would stick together and help each other out.
10 times!!! Ouch! This will be our 8th. 2nd time with my baby but first time since he could run! I'll figure child care out for him somehow but trying to do all the other stuff ALONE seems daunting. My neighbors are moving then too so we can't really help each other because we will be dealing with our own move etc. Our little cul de sac is being demolished as soon as we all move out.
As long as I get the beds and dishes usable I will be fine. I feel like we just got rid of all the boxes here at this house just to do it all over again.

It feels more worth it when moving across country but 2 miles?!?!

You scratch my back I'll scratch yours!

I can handle most of the unpacking I'm more concerned with somebody being inside making sure the toddler bed doesn't wind up in my room and a king size in the boys room etc and somebody marking off the list.

We have had odd things like the kitchen aid in the bathroom and a blender in our sons room etc. I think an extra set of eyes really helps. I've done it before by myself but now that we have kiddos I think I've lost brain cells and energy LOL!
