My hubby is from there and we lived there together for almost 2 yrs before we got orders to San Diego, which is where we are now. Where in IA are you??

i hate ames for many reasons but a couple are because i have lived her my whole life. i am not very close to my family and i miss df. TONS

yaay another iowegian!! haha im from manchester-by dubuque/cedar rapids/waterloo-we're stationed in italy but i moved back here cuz he jus left for iraq...where u located?

lol i was just in ames like, yesterday. my best friend lives there. i miss my hubby too...it really sucks...IOWA sucks!! :'(

I am originally from Oakland Iowa. I lived there up until dh joined the military and I have to say I don't miss it much. lol Then again I am in Europe for my second time and life is so much different then being in a small country town.
