I grew up in Batavia but left in 1992, moved around a lot and when DH got out of the army (he's doing a couple years in the guard) we moved to Dekalb. We'll be here till next year, DH is going back to active duty after I graduate.

I wish I could find some girl's from my area, because I have what's so ever no support group here.. That's why I wish I lived in a big city. Then alot would be there. I dunno any military girlfriends/fiance's/wife's in my area. It stinks!

my fiancee grew up in columbia illinois and recently deployed and i know mt vernon isnt that far at all i should be movin there in may to live with his mom maybe sooner just depends right now i live in the quad city area and trust me its big and theres still no support its actually more support in smaller towns ive found
