In KCMO...not looking forward to the Winter...just sayin lol. I hate freezing! It was like 46 when I woke up this morning...NOT COOL! I'm a Florida girl. Why did I move here?

I miss being in KC. I used to spend alot of time there with my family. (we are from a small town called Hermann about 4 hrs from there) But its cold in Mo in the winter not gonna lie... and it snows! But I still miss it.

Hey I'm going to shamelessly :threadjack for a second....

What's fun to do in Kansas City this time of year? We don't have much cash right now but we NEED to get the heck outta town for a little bit and have some hubby/wifey reconnect time. I've got hotel points so I mostly just need things to do to know if it's worth it or not...

I've got a small choice of hotels in our point range with indoor pools/hot tubs and one is in independence, mo and the other is in Lees Summit, mo. Do you recommend one over the other? It's only about a 200 point/night difference. Oh - I just found one in Blue Springs, MO and it's 400-600 points/night cheaper than the other two and looks small, but adorable.

DH is not into museums and uh, ya... We won't have much money to go shopping to buy stuff and he doesn't really enjoy window shopping too much. We also probably would only eat out for potentially one meal a day, if any and would probably come during the week vs a weekend.

I know! I've been here for 2 1/2 yrs now...I hate it lol. I LOVE it in the summer...but the winter...REALLY?? Lol. SOOOOOOOOOOOO COLD!

Well check out all the sites (except the ren fest. I know they don't do things during the week) but I'm not sure about the other places. They might have things going on during the week!
