Fort Riley!
My DH recived his orders today and we are being sent to FORT RILEY!
ANY information on Fort Riley would be GREAT because there is only so much I can research  I would also like to meet or get to know anyone that is there  We have a 2 year old son and I am expecting another son September 17th!!  Fort Riley ladies!

January...I'm freaking out because I have never even seen snow let alone had to drive in it....I'm a Texas girl...never lived anywhere else soo this should be interesting...
Hopefully we can get to know eachother better sooo that atleast we will know someone up there.

I've never lived anywhere else either, 23 years of Florida! We will get to know each other for sure, I'll be settled and able to help when you get there  watch out Kansas!

I'm glad you at least know where your going so you can start planning. Scary but very exciting at the same time. I'm hoping to find out the end of this month where we will be headed. Good luck!!

hey ladies! i am at riley... we have been here a year.
 i have lots of pics that i wouldn't mind sharing of the post and various housing areas (your rank determines which neighborhoods you qualify for) the only place i don't have alot of pics of is the officer housing as i don't really know anyone that lives over there, but it is sure nice (although I hear they have bats in theirs... lol). brittany, i am also due this fall with a little one - my date is oct 10th. it would be nice to make a friend with a new baby as well... anyway, if you guys want to see the pics, PM me your email addy and i will send them right on over. as for the snow... well, i spent 10 years in southeast texas - not much snow down there at all. i was 19 when i moved to the midwest and learned how to drive on the ice and snow. it sucks. but what is worse than the wintery percipitation is the blasted wind that is out here. it is HORRID. i sware. not looking forward to winter again... anyway, anything else you want to know, feel free to ask. ~Amy
