Hi to everyone.Im currently stationed in Vernon Hills,IL and I dnt know much in the area.My husband is in Great Lakes,IL for A school and we dont know how long were going to be here.We think until November or October.So if anybody is anybody stationed here let me know.Thanks

We are stationed here at Great Lakes my dh is an instructor.

There is a forum(I think) for great lakes students spouses, since instructors and students spouses are not to intermingle. I'm trying to get that website for you.

Ohhh I used to live right by Vernon Hills. I loved Vernon Hills, especially the mall. They used to have an awesome Chinese food place out there too.

I am at Great Lakes. I am getting ready to move back to Michigan but my husband is stuck out here until October since they aren't letting anyone transfer until then.
What barracks does your husband work at?

I used to live in Vernon Hills. My mom was stationed in great lakes for awhile. If you have any questions I would be more then willing to ask her for you!

Sorry the forum I thought existed is not up and running, since it just got passed down that student SO's are not allowed to mingle with Instructor So's.
