My recruiter helped me on my nuke test when he wasn't supposed to. And told me to lie about smoking pot the one time I had.

They tell you to lie when they're hurting, most of them do.

I actually am not surprised by this... I think it's one thing to be unqualified for medical reasons- like eyesight (as roboto mentioned) but a majority is overweight, and that's just ridiculous, IMO.

I know that when DH was searching for the right branch to join each recruiter told him to lie about certain stuff.

I wouldn't say all of them do but some of them definitely do.
