It's really starting to seem, atleast to me, that the less history education someone has, the more likely they are to have discriminatory thoughts and feelings, and I really find it unfortunate but logical, as only ignorance could lead to some of the comments I've seen. History will show you holding people down never lasts, and I am certain that in 50 years, society will see discrimination against homosexuals (hopefully) in the same way we currently view segregation. I strongly believe being exposed to different races, genders, religions and sexual orientations will allow people to become more tolerant and open to new ideas, which would greatly benefit society both domestically and internationally
