I don't know anything about the wack ados... "Sticks and stones" maybe? But, the Dr's are actually taking life. Rarely do those outside do that. How many have been killed by bombs or those misguided pro lifers compared to how many babies? Ummm... no comparison.

Maybe we should just concede there is ignorance on both sides... But truely... the "services" offered by planned parent hood... the pill, a shot, a test.. is nothing compared to the real focus it takes and the amount of people and money to keep up the abortions. Really.

Yes, planned parenthood does abortions. I do not believe that abortions are ever the right answer BUT I AM pro-choice while maintaining a pro-life stance, and a minister.

You want to know why? (Probably not, but I'm going to tell you anyways). Pro-choice and pro-life are not mutually exclusive. I believe everyone should have the right and opportunity to choose, just like I believe that children in-utero should not die.

Instead of forcing people to not have an abortion by not having it made an available to them, I want them to have the opportunity to CHOOSE the path that leads them away from abortion, whether it be adoption or keeping the child and seeking social assistance. A decision without a choices is not a decision at all.

By throwing around words like baby killer etc, you strike at the very heart of those who are looking into getting an abortion, which is counterproductive.

It's hard to hear..but that baby had to die to save the rest of them. She received lots of support and counseling through out the entire process and I think that helps a lot with her healing process. So that woman in the article can sit there and claim that planned parenthood is an evil place and you can say all they want to do is abortions...but to me, they provide something that is sadly needed and they do it in the best way possible. They provide a clean safe environment and services no matter what the mother chooses. Abortion is not their main focus...but even if it was, they will continue to to get a huge thumbs up from me for supporting women like they do. I'm glad that woman quit. She obviously couldn't fully support people the way she should have been. ETA: sorry if parts of that don't make sense. I'm exhausted.

I agree. And this is where I find the grey area with abortion which is maybe why I'm more open to it than Kensington. While I could never see myself making that choice, I do understand why she did. Same as a friend of mine who had an abortion after she was raped. I don't think I could do it, I'd probably have it and give it up, but I understand where the decision comes from. It's not something I agree with, but there are some circumstances where we really can't judge until we've been there ourselves, which I wouldn't wish on anyone.

I see a BIG BIG difference in a women who won't survive her pregnancy due to health issues and the turnstyle abortions being offered daily at Planned Abortion clinics.

This is a Touchy subject. Just so your aware you cannot walk in and ask for a abortion nope dont work that way .. You have to actually go and talk and I MEAN TALK to the Doctor and discuss all your options and they have to make sure you are able to handle everything. They will give you every oppuritiny to keep the baby. They arent abortion happy.

I'm not ignorant as people would like to think. They use that to make it easier to dismiss me or what I think. I was not born saved either. Yes, I've been to a clinic, yes I've held the hand of someone who walked in. Yes, I've held the hand and cried with someone who came out. The answer to your question is Yes.

I hope so... I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. This is a discussion board. And they are killing babies. You don't have to agree. I'm good with that. Throwing around the word "minister" doesn't intimidate me either. I've seen many many men of God use that when they want to try to influence what someone in the body says. My husband is in the ministry, we minister together ... it doesn't change that I remain having my own opinions.

But, I am sure it will pet someone's conscience that you say you are a minister and you support their right to kill their baby. They may need that.

I did concede that there is probably ignorance on both sides of the issue. Are you willing to concede that those Dr's do kill babies?
