I will follow the wind...

Yes... Jesus is mercy to everyone, and especially the unborn. Jesus has compassion for the hurting. He does not give them permission to take the innocent life that was created. He does not. That is the truth He brought. Your being liberal has nothing to do with it. His word is truth. That is the bottom line, be you male or female, liberal or conservative. His word is true. I have never denied forgiveness, or mercy or open arms of the LORD for anyone who has committed any sin. There is no sin that cannot be forgiven. But, I don't say it's okay to go forward in sin, because you can be forgiven. That is misleading and those who preach that kind of gospel will be held accountable for it. Your calling and purpose for the great commission appears to be different than mine. I'm good with that. Perhaps you can be also. We are sisters in Christ, but you are not a minister in authority over me... according to the Word of God. Peace.

And to the red, I don't think anyone is trying to be "minister in authority over you" (massive eyeroll), she's just trying to tell you that she is an ordained minister. Quit hating and being jealous and acknowlege it. And to the blue, that means you're mad. It's hilarious that you do that.

She may hold a paper in a church. But, according to the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ, we are equal sojourners in Christ. That's all. In fact, I may be older than her in the body of Christ, and in the area of teaching.

So you are disagreeing that human beings are complex life or that that bacteria is a simple non complex form? Regardless taking life in any respect we are playing god, doesn't matter if it's simple or complex, there for the whole it's a baby bs hold no weight in the terms, of the argument of taking life that is apparently not mine to take, which is the general pro-life argument.

There is no sinner that I cannot find compassion and empathy and understanding for. Perhaps that is the main difference between us- you're caught up on the sin itself instead of the struggle of the person committing it. While you are bound to live by the Bible, I am to live by the example of Christ's life. I care for the sinner. Them first... I do not judge, or even lay comment on their sin. God never gave permission for human life to be taken, you are correct. He gave us free wills to live our lives as we see fit. If we err (which I do consider an abortion to be, and errant action), He will still care for and love us because He gave us the option and the choice to make that decision. We are humans, we will sin. There's a difference between condoning sin and understanding what causes people to turn to it. As for the grey, it's because the Bible is filled with grey areas. We live our lives within the grey area waiting for the Second Coming where we'll know the answers to everything we seek.
To your bolded, yes. Some people believe that it's against the Word for women to be ordained. They usually express their dissent much like this: Paul set down the qualifications for a pastor in I Timothy 3:1-7. In verse two, he states that a minister must be "the husband of one wife" which eliminates any woman from consideration for the office. Also, Paul says that a minister must be "apt to teach." Teaching is one of the biggie responsibilities of a pastor, yet the scriptures interpreted this way forbid a woman to teach men. "Let the women learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." (I Timothy 2:11-12) Paul told the saints at Corinth: "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church." (I Corinthians 14:34-35) Then, they'll say that the office of the pastor/minister whatever is a position of authority. The writer of Hebrews, speaking about ministers, said; "Obey them that have the rule over you." (Hebrews 13:17).Those that interpret the Word the way Kensington does believe that an office of ministry cannot be occupied scripturally by a woman because their interpretation of the scriptures clearly state she cannot usurp authority over the man (I Timothy 2:12). |

You dismiss the open sound basic word of God to ministers, and yet tried to make it look as though I took on a false teaching. The word says what it says. Do you deny that? And there is a provision for women to teach women. Also, being a woman in ministry is not the same as pastoring, and while you do minister in your body, that does not transfer in authority over those who submit to their own church doctrine. I'm not saying you can't minister in your church, but I am saying that authority does not transfer to me as an equal sojourner in Christ. I also want to leave open for us an avenue to address our differences the way we are called to as Christians. It's always open to any Christian here who wants to speak to me concerning my walk, or to deal with me by the WORD. PM's. I'm open to that. But the open rebuke you have tried, won't work, because again, it's outside of the will of God... according to the word. Peace to you sister. Geo... some of the word is to be taken literally by the believer. It really is.

God didn't set up the church based on who was inferior or who wasn't. Not at all. In my opinion, God knew what He was doing when He set up His church. It is the Church of the LIVING GOD. Not the church of man or woman.
