I just wanted to say something.

When my sister became pregnant at 15 she went to PP to get a test. When she got her she was so confused. They talked to her about, how to tell my parents, gave her info about adoption, keeping the baby, and yes abortion. But that was not what they were pushing, they were not "pushing" anything. They showed her options.

I have a beautiful niece now. But my sister took all that info and with the help my our supportive parents made her decision. She was said she never felt pressure to have an abortion.

This is the typical story I hear from all PP's, both here and in the states, as they all serve the same function, and I am glad to hear that most of the masses realize the function of PP and that it does work.

I've been thinking of a way to properly reply to this, because I feel I should, really, Kensington. Respect for spiritual leaders within our Christian community is extremely important. I'm not asking you to respect me, but I would like to ask if you'd thank someone for speaking to YOUR minister the way you speak to me. Would you speak to them that way?

Just because you dislike that I step out from behind my Bible and share the gospel through my witness and with my heart instead of beating people over the head with doctrine and religious diatribe doesn't mean that I'm the enemy. All I've ever said is that instead of telling people that abortion is not an option 'Because God Says So', I try to lead them towards a choice that is best. That choice, I'll always believe, is never abortion. No one that has ever come to my ministry has left to have an abortion. Not one. This way of doing things? It does work. You have to trust it, give it time and have faith in the humanity of people.

And I did not tell you to check your tongue. I said you should check to be sure that you weren't saying untruths in regards to me.

I'm just going to say it, but I LOVE you This is how I have always felt but I have trouble putting it into words I guess.

I used PP when I needed bc but was unable to get it. They were wonderful working with me and helped me come up with a payment plan so that I could afford the pill. I have nothing but good things to say about them. From my experience they were extremely focused on preventative care so that treatment for an unplanned pregnancy or STD wouldn't be needed.

Also, to add to the whole fetus/abortion debate. The majority of abortions happen in the first trimester, then the second. You can go by the stages of human development, which goes from embryo, to fetus, to baby. An embryo is a human developing in the first eight weeks. A fetus is a developing human from eight weeks to birth. Then comes the baby stages which includes infant, toddler, etc.So if you want to get all technical about the baby thing, you're not actually killing a baby unless you give actual birth, and stab the baby as soon as it comes out of your uterus.

Yes, she did say it. I remember that thread because there was a lot of controversy about people calling her a bad mother, etc.
