If you've ever worked in customer service, you know how infuriating it is to listen to an endless string of mundane complaints or fend off duplicitous customers looking to get something for free. Regardless, there's a line that customer service reps should never cross -- the line between angrily getting a supervisor and mercilessly pummeling the dissatisfied shopper. According to WEAU, Radio Shack employee James Knol of Eau Claire, Wisconsin crossed that line last Sunday night (April 28). Knol not only refused to accept a return item from customer Leigh Carey, but he also started punching him so violently that a witness called '911.' Apparently, Knol went all 'Incredible Hulk' when Carey asked to see his manager. Knol was charged with disorderly conduct and battery, but WEAU didn't release any details about Carey's condition or plans for litigation, although we won't be surprised to see a lawsuit in the very near future. Holy Sheep!!! |

Wow, I don't know. I can't believe how people talk to others in this world.
I mean really, the other day a customer said something INCREDIBLY rude to my friend at work and when she said "excuse me?" (or something like that) the customer was like HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME THAT WAY!!!! WTF, I don't get how you can be a jerk to customer service people and expect them to control themselves, honestly.

I used to work at best buy for a longggg time in customer service. The first thing I was told is customers can get out of hand when it comes to electronics and if that happens take a step back and get the manager. lol I've been cursed at, had things thrown at me, lied on, lied to, spat at *thank God they missed cuz this article might have been about me* I quit best buy b/c $10 an hour is not worth my safety or sanity...

Yeah, I am sure the customer deserved it. No, seriously, "no returns without reciept" means "No Friggen' returns without your receipt, and you will try to return it without a receipt at your own risk!!!"

I wonder if the customer said something that really pissed the clerk off. Not that the customer deserved such treatment but people can be set off at the littlest thing like a comment.
I have done my fair share of customer service work and I really don't ever want to do that ever again. I Hate working with the public.
