Dealing with first deployment and first pregnancy. - Newbies

And new to this site.
My Name is Khiti and I have been a Navy wife for 1 year come the 20th of December.
Husband left last week for his first deployment.
How do y'all cope with deployment?

Welcome to MSOS... My husband and I will be married for 1 year on December 31!

As for dealing with deployment, this site is a great help... if you have any hobbies, now would be a great time to expand on them or maybe find some new ones. Write letters, make up care packages... even start a journal. I hope you like it here

This is a great place for support & encouragement especially during deployment. So far with my experience it has been very important to keep myself busy, work, hobbies, friends, family anything. If you would like to talk, PM me.

How far along are you? Congratulations.

We deal by just going along and taking it one day at a time. Before you know it, baby will be here and so will your SO.

Thank you guys. I'm trying my best to keep busy as possible, right now I'm focusing on moving back home so I can be close to family and friends.

Judi89 I'm 32 weeks today. 2 more months to go.
