New Here! - Newbies

Hello everyone!

I'm brand-spanking new to this site and I wanted to share a little about myself!

My name is Maholi, and 21 years old. I'm originally from Venezuela but have in the US my whole life. I was raised in New York and I spent five years living in Boston. I am currently a college student at Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu, HI, and I am going for my bachelor's in history. I met my DH here in Hawaii (well, technically he's still my fiance but we are getting married in less than a month, so he's DH now!) He is a Navy Corpsman and is stationed at Pearl Harbor. He had just gotten back from Iraq, and I had just gotten here from Boston. We met through mySpace.com and just hit it off. We are getting married on our one year anniversary, and I could not be happier. He's my soulmate!

I know absolutely nothing about the Navy, or the military for that matter. I feel like I am walking into this new world completely blind and with absolutely no knowdlege or any idea what to expect. I don't even know how the rank system works!

Please bear with me if I ask a million questions!
