Hello! - Newbies

H everyone,

My name is Lalja and my boyfriend Isaac has very recently been deployed to Afghanistan. I still haven't heard from him and worry like crazy! I miss him soooo much! I'm very thankful to have found this forum to communicate with other gals in the same boat as me and who can relate. My boyfriend, though in the Army for over 9 years, had never been deployed overseas before....It's all so new to me...I just don't know what to expect. Please pray for him and keep us in your prayers...I'll do the same for all of you!

welcome! It is frustrating to wait for those phone calls but it will come so hang in there. I am sure he is okay and they are just not settled in yet. The first couple of weeks are pretty hectic on that side (unfortunately, it's the opposite for us).
