newbie, and still in shock/crying
hey ladies, just found this site and thought i'd say hi...
i just found out the bf is deploying in a few months and i guess i'm still in shock, i can't stop crying we've only been dating a few months so my friends are kind of just like, whatever it's only been a few months you'll be fine when he is gone.. but i just don't believe it, i don't know what i am going to do without him. i can't even stand not seeing him for a few days, so many months is going to be horrible.anyway, i guess it's good to know you guys are out there going through the same things...i feel like my friends just don't understand at all and think i'm pathetic for being so upset. any advice on how to get over the initial shock and stop the crying? |

I just finished a seven month deployment myself and I felt the exact same way you did when my DB deployed. PM me if you need anything. This site is great!

Hi. I am new too and getting used to all this. My DB has been gone about 3 weeks into a 7 month deployment. Finding this site has been a lifesaver. I don't feel as lonely as I did in the beginning. It is one day at a time when he leaves and ALOT of prayer works!!!
