military girlfriend
hi
 my name is jaclyn and my boyfriend is a marine. we have been together for two months and he went on his first deployment to okinawa and im missing him more than anything. he calls everyday and i keep in touch with his family but the hardest part is that as much as my friends try to be supportive they just dont understand how difficult it is. we are a young couple and as short a time as we have been together we are crazy about one another. i found out about this site through yahoo questions and i really am hoping to hear that it is possible to make this relationship work. he has five more months to go and im more than willing to wait for him. i hear so much about girlfriends cheating but im not one of them. im proud of my marine and i feel lucky that we have found eachother. i would love to talk to some of you whether your a girlfriend, wife or just a close friend or relative... it doesnt matter, because i know that we are all going through the same thing give or take. im also here if anyone also needs to talk, im a great listener. well welcome to msos. you definetly found a great place for the support you are looking for
 love has nothing to do with age or time, you can and will make the distance work for your relationship if you have a desire to (Which it sounds like you definetly do). Things can get tough at times, but you will always have us to lean on feel free to PM me if you need anything! I'm always up for a good chat
