cloth diapers
Ok, who uses them and HOW do you use them??? I know NOTHING about them. All I can think is that they must leak like CRAZY, but I have to be wrong because SOOOOO many people use them. I just have to know cuz if it is cheaper and easier than the damn disposable ones, then I am soooo switching!

I LOVE them. They are awesome. Cheaper, work better, better for the bum, etc. Check out www.diaperpin.com for lots of info. Their forums are awesome.

we used them with my godson and they were definately cheaper but did require a bit more effort You have to rinse them and when you go places you need to make sure you have something to put the soiled ones in. But they are better for our enviroment.

I use them occasionally. I wish I was able to do it ALLL the time, but I'll admit I give in to convenience more often then not. I think it's a greater cost initially, but worth it in the long run. I tend to use them after she's pooped for the day...

There's also flushable diapers out now: http://www.gdiapers.com/
I'm considering cloth because it's cheaper and kids tend to end up potty trained faster after being in them. |

we are doing a combo of disposable and cloth. cloth for at home and short trips and longer trips and the like with disposable. i agree i love going to diaperpin.com. also you can search for cloth diaperers in your area through google or cloth diaper vendors and maybe meet up with someone and actually physically see and touch the diapers. i'm doing that today while cosby is gone, with a woman that lives here on base.
