Two Questions...
the first is...
It sounds stupid, but where does one buy a breast pump? the second is... When you are in your living room watching tv, where is your baby? do you put them in a seat or in a play pen? I wanted to get that fisher price swing thing but it was recalled... |

Breast pumps are sold anywhere baby items are sold. Babies r us, nex, etc.
As for where I put Ashley. I dont really watch TV when the kids are awake. I have a full size swing tho by fisherprice that goes from side to side and front to back (it was only the little takealong 1 that was recalled not the full size 1) She sits in that, she plays on the floor on her mat with toys (its a fisherprice mat with toys hanging from cotton bars off the top, she also has a bouncey seat she sits in too.

I held Jer, put him in his bouncer, swing etc when I *did* sit down for a few to watch tv. Usually I watched TV while I rocked him to sleep or when he was asleep(which was always in my arms anyways)
WHen I was washing dishes or cleaning etc I put him in his bouncer or swing or he had a entertainment mat or in my snugli  I didn't BF or Pump but they have pumps everywhere... wal-mart, babies r us etc

A breast pump can be bought almost anywhere. They are in the baby section, it depends on how much you want to spend.
My kids spent most of there time on a blanket on the floor with toys. Or we had a bouncy seat that Tori liked. We had a swing but only one of my kids actually liked it. Some babies don't like the swinging motion or they are like mine and don't want to sit still. Emily would practically climb out of it  and she was only 4 months old.

We have two larger dogs, we kept them away from the girls when they where on the floor. We would let them sniff them and stuff but if they where on the floor we would sit next to them. But once they turned about 6 months old, they where used to it and it was no problem. |
