He's a little bit early (due March 7th) but everything is going ok. I'm not super active on FB but please nothing there yet.
No pics yet but hopefully on the way! BIL said that the doctors are having some trouble with the placenta so they are bringing in more people to help with that now.
Isaac (love the name!) came so early I was worried but I think she's 38 weeks and they said he is doing well. 6 pound 3 oz so that seems a good size to me!
My sister thought her water broke yesterday and was having contractions, but when she went to the hospital they said she tested negative for amniotic fluid and wasn't dilated enough so sent her home. I'm kind of irritated at them because my sister said her instructions were not to come back until her contractions were so bad that she couldn't speak or walk. She spent all night in pain and BIL brought her to the hospital this morning; by that time she was crying and shaking. And she said they had to page someone to examine her to decide if they could admit her or not and they wouldn't give her anything for the pain until she was admitted, so she had to wait a long time before she could get some relief.I get that they probably don't want people to stop by everytime they have a pang or something ... but it seems unnecessary to me that she was hurting so bad.
She got to the hospital around noon and they gave her an epidural. Started pushing around 5:00 and took 45 minutes so that seems like a good pace to me ... hopefully it was easy and I am sure she will tell me all about it when she's ready! I'm so excited!
Family is headed up there now ... I had bought tickets to visit in 2 weeks and offered to fly up tonight; she said she would rather me come at the original time since she has help now but she thinks she'll really be ready for some more help in 2 weeks.
